Nate Towers, CRPC®

Retirement Counselor / Director

I am here to answer any questions you have about retirement, taxes, Social Security, or whatever concerns you have. As a retirement guide & credentialed professional (CRPC®) I really enjoy helping people to get into the best financial situation possible, so thank you for coming to us for guidance.

Before we meet, I'd like to share a little bit about myself so you have a sense of who you're talking to. I have always been passionate about helping people. For almost 15 years, I've dedicated a lot of time and energy to educating people on what a healthy financial picture looks like, and then helping them to get there. The financial industry has no shortage of professionals who will sell you anything to make a buck, and as a result people nearing or in retirement experience significant stress as they try to make sense of how to navigate a new normal. It's an absolute pleasure for me to help people unravel the mysteries of their finances and get into a more comfortable, confident place.

What’s a CRPC® and what does that even mean? CRPC stands for Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. This is a special designation awarded to experienced financial advisors who want to focus on retirement planning for individuals in defining a road map to (and in) retirement. CRPCs focus on clients’ pre- and post-retirement needs, as well as issues related to asset management, investment analysis, income and estate planning, and tax strategy. Ultimately, it’s just a few fancy letters behind my name that mean I’ve become specialized in an area beyond a typical financial advisor in order to better help you.

I have been actively involved in the financial industry for close to 15 years now, registered and licensed in multiple respects, and have extensive experience in all aspects of financial planning. This experience has instilled in me a true fiduciary responsibility and the commitment to provide an unbiased perspective in the education process to help fill the inevitable gaps left in most financial plans. Before personally starting Five Pathways Financial, my personal education focused on a combination of accounting, finance, marketing, computer arts, and political science. This may seem like an odd combination, but it has given me a unique perspective on financial topics over the years.

I love spending as much time as possible with my wife and our four children. I also enjoy reading, volunteering at church, sugar (although, now that I’m over 40, I can't have my frozen Hostess cupcakes anymore), cycling, being outdoors, and - though I hate to admit it - the occasional Netflix binge.
